CBI arrests Jamia Professor in bribery case, this is how media reported
A professor in the Department of Civil Engineering of Jamia Millia Islamia was arrested by the CBI in Rs 1-lakh bribery case, reported the media. The news spread like wild fire in Okhla with many sharing it privately and talking about the incident with many reporting the arrest of Khalid Moin being arrested on Wednesday.
A Google search showed the incident being reported by several media houses.

Quoting an official, it reported: “The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested a professor at Delhi’s Jamia Milia Islamia University, along with two others, and recovered Rs 30 lakh in cash in a bribery case.”
NDTV ran a story with this headline: “CBI Arrests Jamia Millia Islamia Professor In Bribery Case”.
Quoting agency officials it reported: “During the searches, the CBI has recovered ₹ 30 lakh in cash and bank account details having funds of ₹ 1.19 crore.”
The OT tried to reach university official for their reaction but nobody picked up the phone till the filing of this report.
Quoting a Jamia source, NDTV reported: “The university has not got anything to do with the matter. It was his personal consultancy related matter. The CBI team didn’t seek or share any details with the university. They interrogated him at his office in the university and also went to his house to collect some documents.”
