IMPAR to form women wing for leadership, first step might be taken on Women’s Day at Okhla event
A decision to form a women wing of IMPAR for promotion of leadership programmes might begin on International Women’s Day on forthcoming March 8, according to a statement issued by the organisation.
“A few days ago a meeting of RWA, NGOs social workers was organised by the coordinator Zarin Khan and with Faizan Tahir district coordinator South Delhi at IMPAR’s Community Center (ICDC), Jamia Nagar. The meeting was also joined by IMPAR executives, Shan Mohammad and Subiya Rehman,” it said a statement issued to the media.
The following points of agenda were discussed or decided, it said.
“Importance of correct personal records and maintenance of documentation specially to avail the benefits of various government schemes. It was decided to start the programme from Jamia Nagar as a pilot project.
“With twenty five or more participants exchanged their views and listed out the types and number of documents usually required. Out of number of suggestions a few were for a facilitation center or through cyber cafe/agents or some have suggested for a survey or others were in favour of awareness drive. However unanimous in so far as ultimately completing the drive successfully,” it said.
