Watch: Breaking the Fast (Iftar) with sanitation workers in Okhla
It is Ramzan and people are throwing Iftar party for their friends, family members and acquaintances. However, there are some who have invited sanitation workers for Iftar.
In two such Iftar parties held in Okhla this Ramzan one was thrown by Gaffar Manzil-headquartered Khudai Khidmatgar and the latest being, a few days ago, by Human Welfare Foundation.
If in the earlier one Faisal Khan interacted with sanitation workers of the locality at an Iftar party in Ghaffar Manzil, the latest one was held at the Scholar School a few days ago.
Abul Fazal Enclave Ward 188 Councillor Areeba Khan also participated in the Iftar. During the interaction, HWF members also distributed Eid kits and while addressing the gathering, a speaker said the best party is one with the underprivileged.
Besides serving them food, sanitation workers given kurta-pajama and hygiene kit.
