ACs on as Okhla starts to face summer heat
After a long winter spell, Okhla residents have started witnessing summer heat with some even getting their ACs on to beat the heat. For the last few days, the temperature has been rising and on Sunday many residents woke up to a warm morning.
The minimum temperature on Sunday morning settled at 21.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season’s average, said the India Meteorological Department (Met), adding that the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
To beat the heat, many residents are staying inside their homes. If some have started their ACs there are many who are getting ready to get their ACs service so that they can have a hassle free summer in their homes.
“The weather has changed and as you can see the summer has arrived. Though we are still to switch on our ACs we are looking for a reliable technician to get service done,” said a resident.
During summer demand for trustworthy AC technician increases in the locality with many residents lamenting that they have to get gas filled in their ACs every year and it is difficult to find a reliable technician.
