“Residents were very upset as from time to time crime incidents like snatching used to take place with some miscreants coming from the jungle side to Ghaffar Manzil. After residents complained about it, I wrote letters to Atif Rasheed and informed local councillor Nitu Chaudhary for help.
“Manish Choudhary was kind as he electrified the dark area by getting installed 28 electric poles. And today the broken wall was fixed. Usually it has been noticed that from time to time the wall is broken by miscreants. So we want deployment of police on the spot at regular basis,” said Alam.
He said after the boundary was paved, residents said they were now feeling safe and are hopeful that snatching incidents would come down drastically.
