Watch: Engineers, lawyers go extra mile to provide succour to flood-hit people
Engineers, lawyers and other professionals have gone the extra mile to provide succour to flood-hit people in Batla House.
The good thing is that politicians who line up and wait for such an opportunity take political mileage, these professionals from Abul Fazal Enclave working for years for the betterment of society and locality have taken up the social service sans any political ambition.
“Today, we interacted with individuals facing hardship at the Jogabai Government School and extended our support. We distributed essential supplies and resources, aiming to make a positive impact in their lives,” said Earthcare Mission head Syed Hashmi.
“We also visited Dhobi Ghat, Jhuggi P Block, and M Block, where we provided much-needed assistance to the residents. We took the opportunity to assess the situation of each dwelling and understand the challenges they face,” he said.
Those who were part of the Earthcare team included Er SZI Hashmi, MM Hashmi Advocate, Azhar Alam Advocate, Parvez Akhtar, Ali Refaqat, and Zafar Eqbal.
By extending our support to those in need and striving for a better society, we aim to raise awareness and uplift the lives of individuals facing adversity, said Hashmi.
This is not for the first time that Hashmi has come forward to provide succour to the needy. Earthcare has also been at the forefront in the fight against drug abuse in locality.
Hashmi said the Earthcare Mission took out several awareness marches in the locality to get the most burning issues of the locality addressed.
