A new multi-specialty hospital, Cribs Hospital, was inaugurated in Jassola on Sunday, near the Jasola Metro Station, a few metres from Shaheen Bagh. This is the fifth hospital opened by the founder Imtiyaz Noorani, who aims to improve healthcare services in the region with state-of-the-art facilities and reasonable pricing. Noorani is chairman of Cribs groups of hospital and is originally from Madhubani in Bihar.

Dr Khalid Anjum Usmani is MD & CEO of the hospital which is designed to provide services comparable to high-end institutions while ensuring affordability.

During the inauguration ceremony of the new hospital in Jasola several figures, including incumbent Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan, Dr Shakeel Ahmad, and other activists like Syed Hashmi were present. The hospital’s management expressed their commitment to delivering affordable, high-quality care.

The hospital occupies a 50-bed facility spread across four floors. The ground floor includes outpatient services (OPD), a pharmacy, emergency services, CT scan, ultrasound, and other essential diagnostic facilities. The first floor is dedicated to operation theaters, including modular operating rooms, as well as ICUs such as NICU (Neonatal ICU) and PICU (Pediatric ICU). The hospital also offers a variety of patient rooms, ranging from deluxe to semi-private, as well as triple-sharing rooms.

“Cribs hospital is designed with advanced infrastructure, and the hospital’s facilities reflect a standard similar to five-star hotels. However, despite the high-quality infrastructure, the hospital has ensured that its services remain affordable. The cost of treatment, including surgeries and diagnostic tests, is kept at competitive rates, with a 75 per cent reduction compared to some of the major private hospitals like Apollo Max. Additionally, during the inauguration, discounts were announced for various medical services,” said its management.

It was in 2008 when Imtiyaz Noorani plunged himself into hospitality industry by building a small 10-bed hospital. And within years he has succeeded in expanding his business and today the fifth hospital was opened. Noorani plans to open more hospital in the near future across Indian.

“Cribs Hospital, with its advanced infrastructure and commitment to affordable healthcare, is set to make a significant impact on the local community. The hospital’s combination of state-of-the-art facilities and reasonable pricing offers a new avenue for high-quality healthcare in Jassola and surrounding areas. With the support of prominent local figures and a dedicated team, Cribs Hospital is poised for success in providing top-notch care while remaining accessible to all,” said its management.

With a focus on providing comprehensive care, the hospital hopes to become a trusted healthcare provider in the Okhla region, especially for residents of Jasola, Shaheen Bagh, Abul Fazal Enclave and other neighbourhood of Okhla.

Hashmi said the hospital’s role in community service, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the hospital contributed by distributing oxygen cylinders and offering increased bed capacity, was praised.

He said the hospital will continue to work for the local residents by providing quality services and affordable prices.
