Proud moment for Okhla! Zubed Ur Rehman scoops Bharat Gaurav Award
Proud moment for Okhla as Zubed Ur Rehman popularly known as Babban Khan in the locality has scooped Bharat Gaurav Award today.
“Received prestigious Bharat Gaurav Award in presence of Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste and Ramesh Chander Kaushik, Member of Parliament,” he wrote a few minutes ago on his timeline soliciting several comments from his fans online.
Owner at Madhusudan Gaushala in Chandyana, Khan, who was recently appointed as Vice President of Wrestling Federation of India is a known face in the locality. Besides a businessman, he is a philanthropist.
The award is given by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha an NGO, which has been working with the vision of rise of Indian culture and society from last 20 years through various social programmes, according to information provided on its website.
“In 2012, Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha started “Bharat Gaurav Award” felicitation programme where people from all our world who achieve a landmark in their working area and made India proud, are being awarded in grand ceremony with Coffe Table Book Launch at Hotel Hilton, NJ, USA,” it said.
