Action against illegal liquour shops: SDMC Mayor Mayor Mukesh Suryan said the SDMC, while taking stern action against illegal liquor shops, has sealed 4 liquor shops in Najafgarh Zone. Besides this, four other shopkeepers vacated their liquor shops themselves. He said the shops were sealed following violations in MPD-2021, violation related to illegal construction & irregularities. He said the SDMC has been inspecting illegal liquor shops in all zones and taking sealing action immediately after finding irregularities. In the last 24 hours, Delhi has reported 180 Covid cases, according to information shared by health bulletin. Fire service personnel reach within 15 minutes and douse Abul Fazal Enclave fire. Nobody was hurt, said residents who rushed to the spot after coming to know about it. The fire broke out at AFE thokar number 3, E block, said residents. A resident said the fire service people reached within 15 minutes and succeeded in dousing the fire. Environment Minister Gopal Rai stated that the ban on construction and demolition work has been lifted starting December 20, with strict monitoring and firm action against agencies violating 14-point guidelines, and that the Anti-Dust campaign will continue.
