In her first interview, Areeba Khan, who is daughter of former Congress MLA Asif Md Khan, interacts with the media and lays down her future plan to develop Shaheen Bagh, Abul Fazal Enclave if she wins the election.
Twenty-eight-year-old Areeba is educated with graduation from Amity University in English. While interacting with the media, Asif said his daughter understands local politics well as since her childhood she has seen his struggle.
After the announcement of the list containing Areeba’s name celebrations broke out in Asif’s Kalindi Kunj house. Initially, Asif went into a huddle with his team members to discuss the Congress offer. After more than 30 minutes of discussion, Asif agreed to his team members’ demand of Areeba contesting the election from Abul Fazal Enclave. AAP’s Wajid Khan is the sitting Councillor from AFE ward. And it would be interesting to see how Areeba takes on Wajid who is up against anti-incumbency.
Areeba told the media that her priority will be to end garbage mess on the roadside in Shaheen Bagh and AFE if she is voted to power. Asif said if we fail to deliver after a month coming into power, you can come to use with this video.
