Al Shifa adds more Covid beds
Al Shifa Hospital located in Abul Fazal Enclave has added 10 more Covid beds, according to a reliable source. With this the total Covid beds strength has now increased to 54, said the source.

It is understood that work for establishing Covid temporary hospital in The Scholar School is in final stage and might start soon, said the source.
However, a resident said the Covid field hospital has hit the roadblock after some residents in the AFE lane are opposing the move fearing that it might lead to spread of infection in the overcrowded residential area.
Talk to end the stalemate between Jamaat officials and some residents, opposing the move, was also held a few day ago, but it yielded no results.
Some residents said experts’ consultation should be provided to residents in the lane who are opposing the move due to fear and anxiety which is very justified.
