Under Dr Warsi’s leadership, Holy Family Hospital was known for its dedicated mother-and-child care services.
After retiring from Holy Family Hospital, Dr Warsi in an exclusive interview with the OT, had said to serve Okhla community as an experienced child specialist.
A source said she had offer from top Delhi hospital but she didn’t join preferring Al Shifa, shows her dedication to serve the locality. Also, the source said she had also offer from a top South India hospital.
“Certainly, her joining Al Shifa will help improve the image of the hospital. Admission of patients will go up and so will be income of the hospital. The management can use the money to improve facilities,” he said on the condition of anonymity.
A lot will depend on the Al Shifa management how much free hand it will provide to Dr Warsi, he said.
