No Eid-ul-Adha 2020 as goats missing in Okhla market?
Usually two weeks before Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) Okhla sees traders showcasing their animals, particularly goats, in the streets. However, with coronavirus threat continues to loom large with cases on rise residents lament that goats are missing form Okhla market.

It is rare to see traders moving around with their livestock convincing them that there might be no animal sacrifice this year around. Moreover, many residents are convinced that traders will think twice before landing in Okhla from adjoining districts to sell goats at a time when coronavirus cases are being reported from parts of the country.
Looking at the scenario if majority of residents are convinced that Barkid would be low affair just like Eid-ul-Fitr some are hopeful that in the last few days goat traders might land in the area.
A resident said handful shopkeepers are selling goats but at high rate.
This year around goats are being sold online as well, according to several reports doing the rounds. However, there a few takers with everybody waiting for the traders to land in the locality. The next few days will be crucial with many eager residents suggesting wait and watch policies.
