Okhla block president Parvez responds to OT Pol khol report
A report published in the OT dated December 21 about Pol khol yatra organised by the Congress has not gone down well with Okhla block president Parvez Alam Khan.
He called the report factually incorrect.
Khan said the headline and the content of the report was misleading: “Cong ‘poor’ Pol khol yatra in Okhla riled Delhi president Anil?”
The rally was a successful one and it’s wrong to say crowd didn’t turn up, said Khan, who is also vice chairman Communication Department Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee.
He said the portal before filing the report should have spoken to him as he was the main organiser of the party’s Pol khol yatra in Shaheen Bagh.
He pointed out that the rally was started from Shaheen Bagh 40 foota and then went to different places in the locality including, Jasola Village, Janta Flat, Okhla Vihar, Noor Nagar, Arshi Dairy, Okhla Tikona Park, Okhla Head Main Market, Batla House bus stand, Khalilullah Masjid, Nafees Road and ends at Batla House Chowk.
