Jamia passes resolution lauding Chancellor Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin’s personal legal triumph
A unanimous resolution was passed in the meeting of the Deans congratulating Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin on behalf of the entire Jamia community for his well deserved triumph in a personal legal matter that involved his appointment as the 53rd al-Dai-al-Mutlaq and leader of Dawoodi Bohra community.
Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin is the Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
The resolution commended Chancellor’s Saifuddin’s exemplary resilience and commitment throughout the legal proceeding at the Mumbai High Court in the said legal matter. It noted that Chancellor Saifuddin maintained unwavering dedication to the values and principles held by Jamia Millia Islamia.
It was also resolved that the Chancellor continues to serve as an inspiration to students, faculty and staff through his steadfast leadership and integrity, said the university.
