As of the time of this report, work is still underway to erect a new wall, encroaching on the existing road.

Residents expressed concerns, lamenting that the road they have used for years is being narrowed, which could lead to traffic congestion and commuting issues on the Abul Fazal Enclave Hari Kothi Road, in front of Al Shifa Hospital. The boundary wall is being extended over an area that was once used as a garbage dumping site years ago.

In a video, Amanatullah, the only leader to show up at the site after heavy security was deployed for the boundary construction, can be seen arguing with officials, though his efforts yielded no positive results. Congress leader Arfa Khanam was also spotted at the location.

The road belongs to UP Irrigation Department. However, Amanatullah could be heard in the video that it belongs to the mohalla. Local residents have been using this road for years. For them the development has come as a major setback as it is still not clear till where the boundary will extend.
