Zakir Nagar-based social activist Musharraf Husain (chairman of Roshan Trust) has been honoured with the Delhi Minorities Commission 2019 Award for his outstanding contributions to community service.
DMC chairman Zafar-ul Islam Khan presented the award to the activist a few days ago.
Musharraf Husain is also treasurer Milli Council and is in-charge of Darul Qada, Okhla chapter.
He played an important role in opening free Joga Bai library in the locality.
Born in 1947 in UP, Musharraf Husain was head of Batla House Government school and is a known figure.
