This part of Okhla sweats because of power cuts. Since late night on Friday night this is for the second time in a day that residents of this part of Okhla are facing power cut, said residents.
A resident of H block in Abul Fazal Enclave told the OT over phone that a few minutes ago the power went off. We don’t know how long will it last as on Friday night there was no power throughout the night as many people were seen on the road due to searing heat, he said, adding that the situation only deteriorated in the last 24 hours.
Residents of G block also complained of power cut. They said the power came early morning on Saturday and then it went off in late morning to come withing a few minutes and once again a few minutes the power went off.
