Johri Farm family’s tears of joy as missing Persian breed cat reunited with owner, Jojo’s recovery story a bit intriguing
There were tears of joy for a Johri Farm resident on Saturday when a youth turned up unbidden at their residence to share information about their missing 9-month-old cat.
The OT also carried a report on request of the owner a day ago.

The owner said on Saturday morning a youth, who had taken the cat and sold it to someone in Okhla Vihar, informed us about the whereabouts of the nine-month-old brown and white colour Persian breed cat named Jojo.
“Initially we were delighted. But the recovery process was a bit tardy. We immediately took the boy to the place where the cat was. When we reached there we were told that the cat was not with them as they handed over it to another person in East Delhi. My mother called the family and convinced and it was today at 7.30 pm when my family member travelled to East Delhi to bring the cat back,” said the owner.
She said the cat passed through three people and each one of them sold it. Anyhow we tracked the person who had it and on Sunday morning the new owner called us as we had exchanged number with her to take Jojo back, said the owner.
And then we got it back and now we are planning a party to celebrate the reunion, she said.
