Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi 7:00:48 PM IST at a depth of 5 km from the surface, including Okhla, on Friday evening, claimed media reports. The India’s National Center for Seismology.said an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was reported near Delhi with the epicentre of the earthquake 63 km southwest (SW) of Gurgaon in Haryana. Prof Atiqur headed Jamia team, IIT researchers analyse rainfall changes in India A joint team comprising of researchers from Jamia Millia Islamia, IIT Indore and University of Gour Banga has conducted a study on ‘analyzing trend and forecasting of rainfall changes in India using non-parametrical and machine learning approaches’. The research paper has been published online in the prestigious Scientific Reports, a journal of Nature Group.
