Girl found dead under mysterious circumstances in Batla HouseA girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Joga Bai in Batla House on Thursday morning, according to residents. Youth leader Mahmood Ahmad said the door of the house at Joga Bai imambara was closed from inside. Shaheen Bagh resident Kausar Jamal Khan, who worked as economist in Germany, lost battle with cancer on Tuesday morning, according to a family member. Tanveer Chaudhary said Kausar Jamal, 58, who completed BSc physics Honours and post graduation in economy from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1986, and was residing in Shaheen Bagh for many years, was diagnosed with lung cancer months ago. He was undergoing chemotherapy and 80 per cent was completed but a few days ago his health deteriorated and he passed away in a hospital in Delhi, said Tanveer.
