Watch: Early-morning blaze in Jamia Nagar doused, no casualties The early morning fire which broke out in P block of Jogabai Extension was doused by the fire brigade with no casualties being reported from the area, according to a local resident. Farman, well aware of the development, said the fire had broken at 4 am and nobody was hurt but some jhuggis were gutted. The reason behind the fire couldn’t be ascertained, he said, adding that local authorities also turned up at the spot. After the fire was doused, residents were seen picking up items from the burned jhuggis.

Being a nodal corporation, it said it has developed the portal which will ensure identification and survey of left out street vendors for all the three corporations – South, North & East. Mother, daughter jump into Yamuna leading to rescue operation Rescue operation was on to trace two people, a 32-year-old woman and her four-year-old daughter, who had jumped into the Yamuna River on Friday in Kalindi Kunj area, according to police.
