Former Okhla MLA Asif Md Khan was hospitalised on Wednesday as he was unwell, said Abdul Wahab Mallik, a close associate of Khan.
For the last seven days, Khan was suffering from persistent low-grade fever, body ache and running nose, said Mallik.

Reports about his blood tests are out and they are fine, said Mallik from the hospital, adding that we are waiting for the doctors to diagnose his ailment properly.
However, another associate of Khan said some results are awaited and we are praying for everything to be fine.
The report results are good and we are happy as earlier looking at his symptom wr suspected dengue.
Delhi has seen rise in dengue cases with many residents in Okhla contracting the disease. One death was reported from Okhla.
