Math wizard Anand in list of world’s 20 top teachers comes to Shaheen Bagh
Okhla is not only known for restaurants but also for coaching institutes. In the last few years if the area has not only seen mushrooming of eateries but also coaching institutes. And with the locality growing, now many well-known brands too have come to the locality to give wings to the dreams of youngsters.
Among the list, the new entrant in the cut-throat competitive world of Okhla growing education sector is Rahman’s 30 in association with Super 30.
In a social media message, Ayesha Edutech launched Rahman’s 30 in association with Super 30 in presence of Anand Kumar.
“In Delhi, it will be run and managed by Edutech. Most of the teachers will come from the parents’ body from Okhla. We will coach students who want to crack IiT, NEET and JEE and meritorious students will get scholarships. It will be based on merits,” said Rahman’s 30 founder Obaidur Rahman.
He told the OT that the Okhla institute will train and strengthen foundation of Class 8, 9 and 10 students also.
Those presented at the opening ceremony were Serajuddin Quraishi, Obaidur Rahman and others.
The ribbon was cut by Anand, who has won praises from across the world for his initiative to train poor students for IIT-JEE.
His Super 30 initiative catapulted him to international fame. His popularity could be gauged from the fact that a film was also made on him in 2019.
It is not known whether Ayesha Edutech will provide free education to the impoverished children of Okhla or run it as a profit-making coaching institute like others in Okhla. The development has been welcomed by many residents who strongly feel that more such coaching institutes should open in the area providing quality education so that youngsters can avail it and succeed in their career.
